Disabled Motoring UK Awards - I come Highly Commended

I went to the Disabled Motoring UK Awards on Friday 16th September at the Goodwood Hotel in Chichester. I received the Highly Commended award in the O.A Denly Memorial Award category,

Thanks to whoever nominated me and to Disabled Motoring UK for the Award.

I have been nominated and shortlisted for the Disabled Motoring UK's O.A Denly Memorial Award. The awards ceremony is on Friday 16th September when the winners will be announced at the Goodwood Revival festival.

I have a Boma!

On Friday 11th March, I showed the long version of the award winning Short film 'Being Martin' to raise funds for the Boma Appeal. The evening raised £70.

At the end of the evening, Chris Swiff, Founder and Managing Director of Molten Rock who make the Boma announced that I am a proud owner of a Boma for the amount I've raised so far

Just to let you know that Being Martin is on the Official Selection to be screened at the Picture This International Disability Festival in Calgary Canada February 14th-18th 2011!

Well done to Lou Hamilton. She has won Best Humanitarian short film and Best Narration for Being Martin at the Angel Awards in Monaco this weekend. Lou also won screenplay for Maestro another film she made.
